Maternal-fetal ultrasound is an essential skill but is often feared. However, it is a must-have skill in current women's imaging practice. Learning comprehensive Ultrasound skills will help you shine among your peers.

The teaching format is based on short lectures, interactive tutorials, and the opportunity for you to perform maternal-fetal ultrasound on human models.

Dr. Iram Siddiqui, Consultant obstetrician, fetal medicine specialist. (Course Director).

Dr. Yasmin Sajjad, Consultant gynecologist, and infertility specialist.

Dr. Yasmin Sajjad is working & practicing as a senior consultant Gynaecologist, Andrologist, reproductive medicine & Endocrinology (IVF) sub-specialist at a director and head of department level for over 10 years. Her current appointment as divisional chief of the IVF department is to cover all clinical and surgical aspects of IVF/Andrology, patient counseling, and dealing with the day-to-day administration of the department. She has been looking after all the clinical governance & risk management issues of the department & has compiled a number of HAAD medicolegal reports for a number of senior consultants in the previous organization. She also deals with patients' complaints, investigates serious incidents, medicolegal cases, and arranges bereavement counseling sessions for the patients following pregnancy loss. She has worked in many high-risk obstetrics and gynecology departments of UK with high prevalence of multi-cultural, multi-lingual patients with complex medical and social issues. Her strengths are my broad experience of over 27 years in the National health service (NHS) of the UK, dedication to the specialty with utmost honesty & hard work. Due to her leadership qualities & communication skills, she has headed one of the largest IVF centers in UK and UAE & has set up IVF centers from conception. I have advanced skills at a super-specialized level in all aspects of reproductive medicine (IVF) & Andrology (Male fertility). She is one of the very few triple-accredited physicians in the UK & and the only one in UAE with three different specialty experiences and accreditation. She has a keen interest in teaching & training which is evidenced by my multiple teaching activities all over the world. She has been an organizer and faculty member of multiple courses for the Royal College of obstetricians and gynaecologists (RCOG) London including being convenor for the MROCG part 2 course for three years & an examiner for Part 2 MRCOG examination for over 5 years. She has been the chair of RCOG- London, Pakistan Liaison group & involved in promoting gynecology education and training opportunities in the UK and abroad. She has been the preceptor & examiner in the UK to the sub-specialty advanced training in reproductive medicine. Currently, She is a trainer and preceptor for the British fertility society (BFS), special skill modules both in UK & UAE. She is the expert advisor to the DOH UAE for the ART licensing & guidelines. She is an accredited member of the UAE national institute for health specialties surveyors team. 

Dr. Yasmin has published & have presented as well as chaired many sessions both nationally and internationally on various aspects of my specialty. She has been involved in many systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials in the UK. She has many international publications of great repute to my credit and has written several textbooks, chapters, and edited journals' supplements. She is an Adhoc reviewer for many international scientific journals and publishers from all over the world. Her special interests are Reproductive endocrinology (IVF) Andrology, Recurrent miscarriage, minimal access surgery especially outpatient operative hysteroscopy.  She has always aimed a very high quality of patient care, reducing patient morbidity and mortality, promoting evidence-based practice, and providing excellent training & mentorship to junior doctors.

Dr. Sadia Malick, Consultant obstetrician, and gynecologist,

Assoc. Professor Dr Sadia Malick FRCOG is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. Her special interest is in Abnormal Uterine Bleeding management and performing advanced hysteroscopy procedures. She has a special interest in Office Gynaecology. She established the first office gynecology unit at Corniche Hospital and performed outpatient hysteroscopy without anesthesia.

She is the author of the chapter on Recurrent Miscarriage in the highly acclaimed Obstetrics and Gynaecology Textbook High-Risk Pregnancy by Professor James. She established the first Recurrent Pregnancy Loss clinic, and the first Early Pregnancy Unit at the Corniche Hospital, according to international guidelines. This is the first-ever service of its kind in SEHA Abu Dhabi.

She is a TED x Speaker and has extensively published in international journals and is also a reviewer for many journals. She has worked and trained in the United Kingdom and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and was working as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the United Kingdom previously. She has recently been awarded the Women's Leadership Award in Dubai by the World Women's Leadership Congress Awards for her lea++dership in establishing the first Early Pregnancy Unit of international standards for SEHA in Abu Dhabi.
