FOUNDATION OF INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY COURSE (FOIRS) 

 

Course Description 

  • A review of IR procedures, equipment, and application in clinical practice 
  • A review of the pre- and post-imaging findings related to IR procedures including interpretation of CT angiography 
  • Hands-on training for basic image-guided procedures.  
  • Interactive learning environment is provided with close feedback and mentoring. 

 

Intended Audience 

  • Radiologists who want to learn basic IR skills and principles and CT angiograms and apply in their practice 
  • Interventional radiologists in training 
  • Clinicians/Physicians who want to learn the fundamentals of image-guided treatment and what role IR can provide in their respective specialities
